The Boyne Writers Chapbook 2,
Racket in the Air by Boyne Writers Group member Brendan Carey Kinane has been launched. It contains nine poems by the award winning poet.

Congratulations to members who have won awards in the Francis Ledwidge Poetry Competition. Evan Costigan was awarded third prize and Orla Fay and Michael Farry were commended.

Congratulations to Michael Farry who was awarded joint third prize in the Patrick Kavanagh Poetry Competition 2009 and has had poems shortlisted in the Bridport and Aesthetica Poetry Competitions 2009 and has two poems included in The Stony Thursday Book 2009.

Boyne Berries 6 Launch

Boyne Berries 6 was launched in the Castle Arch Hotel on Thursday 24 September at 8pm by Michael Regan, Trim. Many of the contributors were present and read from the magazine.

All Ireland Poetry Day Trim Event

All-Ireland Poetry Day October 1 was celebrated in Trim this year with a poetry reading session in St Patrick's Cathedral, Loman St. organised by the Boyne Writers Group. People read their favourite poems or their own work. The Boyne Writers Group would like to thank Rev Robert Jones for so readily agreeing to allow us to use St Patrick's Cathedral for the readings.
